Spiritual Services Centre

The Spiritual Services Centre is here to meet the spiritual needs of individuals and groups on campus. Our friendly team gladly provides input and assistance in various spiritual activities.

Mandate

As part of Community Life Service, the Spiritual Services Centre provides support to people who are facing loneliness, difficult times or hard decisions in their lives.

This interfaith Centre is also a place where students can find information about coming events, meet with other students and take part in different activities.

Services Offered by the Centre

The Spiritual Services Centre provides the following services and resources to help students feel part of the campus community:

  • Active listening
  • Peer help
  • Journeying with people
  • Chaplains
  • Rental of the Tabaret Hall (room 112) for weddings
  • Spiritual activities
  • Referral to Missionary projects
  • Referral to Spiritual retreats in the capital region
  • Other referral services (both internally and externally)

Activities of the Centre

  • Monthly faith presentation and brown bag lunch
  • Potluck meals
  • Social justice activities
  • Joint projects with different faculties

Group activities

Most religious clubs and spiritual groups on campus meet on a regular basis to pray, to study their faith, and for other activities. The Centre maintains a relationship with and offers services to these groups. We can help you connect with them.

Do you sometimes feel lonely on campus? Pay us a visit. You'll meet interesting people and make some new friends.
